Natural Dye Workshop
Natural Dye Workshop
Kick off your Fiber Arts Studio Tour with a Dye Workshop!
Saturday, July 15, 2023
10 am - 1 pm
Howard County, Maryland
If you’ve ever been curious about how to dye yarn, this workshop is for you.
It's a hands-on yarn dyeing experience.
You'll get a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of how yarn is produced. It’s the easiest way to try dyeing because everything you need will be provided.
It’s special because plant dyeing uses natural materials to get different colors. Assigned Pooling yarn uses two colors and the technique is suitable for a first-time dye experience.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind dyed-by-you skein of yarn and the pattern (crochet or knit) to make your project! Start to finish your very own creation.
What you get:
A Natural Dye Experience
An Assigned Pooling Class
A 100-gram skein of Fingering Weight Yarn
An Assigned Pooling Pattern (Choose Blueberries for Val, Braids for Days, Crescent Puff or Vortex Puff)
